Protein plays an essential role in many bodily functions, from building and repairing tissues to making enzymes and hormones.

It's also a **crucial** component of every _cell_ in our _bodies_, including our _skin_, _hair_, and _nails_. However, while it's clear that protein is **necessary** for overall health, there's ongoing debate about the best sources of protein and how much we should be consuming.

Some argue that plant-based proteins are healthier, while others advocate for _animal_\-based proteins.

Excessive protein intake can also pose **health** _risks_ such as kidney damage.

Therefore, it's not about categorizing protein as **good** or **bad**, but rather understanding its importance and consuming it responsibly.
