# First Solidify smart contract

Dusting off the old github account to learn solidify seems like a good move. Also, have been using this Bitdegree platform that helps gamify some of the learning I have been doing. This is the first of many smart contracts I plan to make! https://www.bitdegree.org/user/course/fungible-and-non-fungible-tokens-token-token-standards-when-to-use-which-and-why/216033 I’m so glad I learned node.js back in graduate school a decade ago. Back then it was fairly new but I really liked the modular approach so I went for it building a web socket app for a presentation tool.
