We're kept in a state of disorientation, so it's hard to tell what's real and what's not. That's on purpose, of course. It makes urgent _the trivial and unimportant_ to keep our attention focused away from the systems of power and oppression. If we really look at it, collectively, **we would never agree to the way this system is constructed and operated**.
