StarkNet is a permissionless decentralized Validity-Rollup (often referred to as ZK-Rollup). It operates as an L2 network over Ethereum, enabling any dApp to achieve unlimited scale for its computation – without compromising Ethereum's composability and security. Scalability and Integrity: StarkNet supports scale, while preserving the security of L1 Ethereum by producing STARK proofs off-chain, and then verifying those proofs on-chain. General Purpose: On StarkNet, developers can easily deploy any business logic using StarkNet Contracts. Composability: StarkNet provides Ethereum-level composability – facilitating easy development and innovation.
