# Meme Index – Developer Update, The Final Stretch

After months of development, testing, and iteration, we’re excited to announce that **Meme Index will officially launch on August 4th, 2025**. With this milestone just around the corner, we’re taking a moment to reflect on the key technical achievements that brought us here.

Laying the Foundation for Participation
---------------------------------------

_(June 19 – July 2, 2025)_

This phase was all about enabling **governance and participation**, completing the full **Polls feature** that allows users to vote on key decisions using our custom smart contracts. We implemented:

*   The full voting lifecycle, from UI interactions to smart contract integration for casting and publishing votes.
    
*   Backend and frontend synchronization to ensure seamless experience across the platform.
    
*   The start of comprehensive Quality Assurance (QA), identifying bugs and validating core functionalities.
    

Stress Testing & Real-World Simulation
--------------------------------------

_(July 3 – July 16, 2025)_

With functionality in place, the next phase focused on **robustness, accuracy, and performance**.

*   **System Integration Testing (SIT):** We verified seamless communication between all components, frontend, backend, and smart contracts through rigorous integration tests.
    
*   **APY Calculation Stress Testing:** We simulated volatile markets using 7-day rolling data, validating the accuracy and stability of APY figures under high-load conditions.
    
*   **User Acceptance Testing (UAT):** Leveraging real mainnet data, we ran the platform in near-live conditions to uncover edge cases before launch.
    
*   **Live API Configuration:** We integrated with CoinGecko and CoinMarketCap to deliver real-time token data for our index calculations.
    

Mainnet Readiness & Launch Preparation

As we approach launch, our focus has shifted to **polish, stability, and go-live logistics**.

*   **Mainnet Wallet Setup:** Wallets for both staging and production have been configured and funded with testing tokens.
    
*   **Gelato Integration:** We’ve embedded automation tools to support critical on-chain tasks in the live environment.
    
*   **End-to-End Testing:** We're finalizing tests across the entire user and admin experience to ensure production-grade reliability.
    
*   **Infrastructure Deployment:** Frontend, backend, and blockchain environments have been configured for scale and security.
    
*   **RPC and Token Pool Finalization:** Mainnet RPC endpoints are live, and the Meme Index pools - **Titan, Moonshot, Midcap, and Frenzy** - are being loaded with initial launch tokens.
    
*   **Final Refinements:** Field validations, tooltips, content updates, and APY logic have all been fine-tuned based on testing feedback.
    
*   **Production Simulation:** We're now running final tests using actual production data to validate performance under real-world conditions.
    

What’s Next: Launching August 4th

We’re now in the final stretch. On **August 4th, 2025**, Meme Index will officially go live, **our first governance polls will go live that same week**, giving the community a direct voice in shaping the index by voting on which tokens they’d like to see added.
