# AGG 3/26 : New Users Checklist

Ok ladies and gentleman … I am proud to introduce you to … Alpha DAO!

So this past week I spent a lot of time thinking about how to best move our project forward -- and the conclusion I came to is … create a DAO

So, we now have not one … but TWO DAOs!

Why two?
--------

I launched a squad (for use on Solana) and an XDAO for use on Avax/Binance/Matic/etc.

We are going to use the XDAO for handling NFTs and our Squad will be for governance and distribution of profits.

What is a DAO?
--------------

A DAO is a Decentralized Autonomous Organization. The goal of our guild is to create financial well being for all of our members and having a DAO lets us do things like

*   store funds in a central wallet
    
*   distribute tokens and profits to guild members
    
*   raise funds and vote on how we use them.
    

Why now?
--------

I was trying to figure out the best way to manage this project. We have a lot of people who are contributing and it was becoming rather complex … so, to keep things simple we are going to leverage our XP system from Discord and use that to distribute AGG tokens.

**More XP = More AGG.**

Now, when you do you daily check in … you earn AGG.

When you help out on Social Media … you earn AGG.

When you invite a friend to the guild … you earn AGG.

> Note : please bare with us as we set up these systems. This is “my” first time building a DAO and we will surely hit some snags along the way. But! We are all going to dao our best :P … and I’m sure we will figure it out along the way.

What now?
---------

First off -- everyone needs to complete their invite requirement before they can be a “full member.” Each person who invites 25 people will earn 100 AGG tokens (worth $10) and will be granted full access to the discord.

After you finish your first quest -- you will be prompted to choose a skill path!

Right now you can choose between **CONTENT** and **RESEARCH.**

> Note : you can only choose one path (for now) so choose wisely!

Once you choose your skill path you will get access to a special discord channel. Each skill path will have tasks to accomplish. By accomplish tasks (daily and weekly) you will earn XP, level up, and get more AGG tokens!
