# Analyst Update : 2/17

Ok team -- another week is wrapping up, well kind of :P … and we have some things to address in order to continue improving as a group.

First off, let me express, I am very happy with the progress that we have made so far. The purpose of these updates is to

1. Allow me to continue to iterate our processes and share these ideas with you

2. Create a retroactive roadmap that shows the progress we have made (looking at you future investors)

So far we have a functional research team that has discovered over 60 games. We have a functional system for reviewing said games and a system for choosing which ones to invest in (accuracy tbd :P).

We are going to continue to work on these systems to streamline our processes and improve our overall efficacy.

In the short term , changes I would like to make are :

1. create separate voting categories for :

    1. New Games (selling tokens or NFTs)

    2. Existing Games

The reason for this is such :

The income potential for NFT purchases is very high. It’s realistic that, when done well, we can 10-20x our investment ; however, this usually requires … time. With the right project you may see a 3-5x initially after token sale, but in that sweet spot of 6-12 weeks after launch you can earn those magical 10x+ gains. With our current NFT investments (chumbivalley, cryptounicorns), we bought in after the initial sale, and unfortunately, near their ATH. While, I still think these will be good buys in the long run, we forfeit our opportunity to 10x WHILE we still are stuck holding an asset, waiting for the game to launch.

> Side note : we should, in most cases, exclude games that do not have income potential in their early stage roadmap. I think that this exposes a lack of foresight / awareness on the part of their team. Most of the games that are doing well right now have incorporated early stage earning potential (often through idle games) prior to the launch of their main game. This is **imperative** to maintain traction with so many projects being launched.

So … for the above reason, we are going to create two separate investment groups.

NFT sales (+ token sales) will make up approximately 30% of our portfolio. Our goal with these is to buy at mint and sell after a 10x (or more). We may consider hodling into game launch (for the purpose of further appreciation, having breeding pairs, etc.) but our main goal is asset appreciation.

Our second category will focus on games “post launch” that have income potential. We may include tokens in this group but the majority of our holdings will be income producing assets with a preference towards those that our scholars can utilize. This will be the “revenue generating” component of our fund, subsequently creating the funds which we use for buying new assets.

$$ flow will look as such.

70% of fund : starts off as USDC

Team researchers and votes on scholarship / income opportunities.

Distributes funds as such.

Income Asset Class Production = Passive income

30%+ (including on going income) distributed to new NFT launches

Each launch will receive a 3% allocation (or 10% of available funds)

This will go on a rolling basis

When NFT’s from the latter category are sold, funds will be added to our NFT/Scholarship fund and when profits are taken from NFT/Scholarship they will be added to our NFT Mint fund.

Hopefully that makes sense -- it does in my mind. Maybe we will create a diagram in the future.

TLDR : Main fund buys/hodls NFT’s for income production

Income produced used to buy NFT’s on mint for speculation.

Profits from these are used to increase overall fund.

Right now we are coming off a windfall from the recent Crabada update -- our assets 2xd overnight and we took advantage of that, hyper breeding the Gem class. We are going to take $25,000 from this and invest in Ninneko, an up and coming “axie-esque” game.

The remaining profits will be used to :

\-invest in additional scholarship opportunities

\-create our bankroll for new nft mints

\-create a “treasure chest” for fund growth and expansion

We are currently in the planning stages for a proper token sale and we will need funds for this. I am going to start siphoning some profits for this (approx $10,000 total) and the remainder will continue to be reinvested for our growth!

Great work so far @team!
