# Mar 7 Update -- Scaling By [Metama](https://paragraph.com/@metama) · 2022-03-07 --- Ok team -- exciting things are abound. We are making some changes … big ones. Let’s get started! First off -- well done @rimeru and @wanderer and @christian (if you helped and I didn’t mention you, I apologize). You all created and managed some AWESOME contest. We are currently at 766 members in Discord. A week ago we were at 40 … well done :P. With that being said … our current focus is **Scaling.** So here’s how we are going to do it. We have 4 main teams. **Social Media** **Shilling** **Contests** **Research** We need a team lead for all of these. Right now, as things stands it is Social Media (None) // Shiling (Bweet) // Contests (Wanderer + Christian) // Research (Rimeru) Everyone is able to and recommended to help as much as possible. We will be recording how you help with these tasks and using this performance to determine * Which order we distribute scholarships * Token distribution when we go live (yes, you all are EARNING AGG tokens just by helping!) PS : Thanks to the folks who won scholarships. I chose to postpone this -- I think it is more important for us to invest our funds in marketing/growth right now. I wanted to publicly thank you all for taking my change of decision so well. :P You are appreciated. So! -- we have teams, and team leads (DM me if you want to apply for SM team lead // or know someone who would be a good fit) … what are we going to do? Each week we will host a **SPRINT.** `A sprint is a short, time-boxed period when a scrum team works to complete a set amount of work.` Each team will have a **MISSION** and we will use these sprints to accomplish key objectives. The idea is, by constraining our goals to one week periods, we can : * set goal * accomplish goal * evaluate / create feedback * repeat the following week with more success. I will be working 1 on 1 with all of the teams this week to help craft our MISSIONS and then implementing this into practical tasks. (I’m going to DM each of you) With that being said … I am excited to announce that we are 10 weeks from LAUNCH! LFG WAGMI!!! ---------------------------------- haha :P so I wanted to share this for two reasons. One to put some fire under our buts and two, to segwey into this next section… We’re launching NFT’s. One of the reasons that I wanted to launch this project is to provide income opportunities and financial well being to those who may be “geographically excluded”. Another group of people who are financially siloed are … everyone. If you are not a large VC fund, you probably do not have the ability to invest during the Private round in upcoming projects … we are going to change that. How? I’ll tell you. We are releasing a limited round of NFTs prior to our launch (live in 2 weeks). **We will have 4 tiers** `Platinum (for the big boys) : $25k+` `Gold : $2k` `Silver : $1k` `Bronze : $75` These NFT’s will act as **access passes to our paid newsletter** PLUS, they will include a distribution of tokens at our Private Sale price. This way, ANYONE, can invest in Alpha Gaming Guild as a private investor. Additionally, it will let us build a large fund, prior to our main launch, for marketing and team costs. :P More on this ^^ later, I just wanted to share the deets with the team!! We’ve got many more exciting changes on the horizon -- let’s all buckle down and get ready for 10, challenging … but very rewarding weeks. I expect two things out of each and everyone of you. If you can accomplish these two things I promise you will be taken care of. #1 : Do your very best to support your team mates and the guild. #2 : Be honest with yourself and, each day or week, ask yourself how you can get better (and then do that) (PS: This is why I am so big on feedback and coaching. Every person has so much potential … if you simply believe in yourself and continuously strive to be better, there are really no or few limits to our capacity :P) Ok -- that’s it for this update! I will be contacting each team lead today (MONDAY) to discuss these changes. For social media I will just chat w/ the group and we can discuss together until there is a team lead. We are going to keep doing awesome contests so you all can win prizes and EVERYONE who helps out during our GROWTH phase will be rewarded with AGG tokens, scholarships and more.
