Metopia Beta Testing -------------------- Metopia Beta Testing has been running for three weeks, and so far, hundreds of users have tested our Beta product. Users are getting familiar with Metopia's profile&voting features by completing different tasks including "edit profiles", "create proposals", "vote & delegate", and "register as a delegate" etc. Meanwhile, we also received various constructive feedback from our lovely community members. Many thanks to everyone who helps Metopia grow better! In the following weeks, Metopia will offer the toolkit to issue MetoBadges, or SoulBound Tokens(SBTs) based on Metopia protocol for all projects and communities. MetoBadges are non-tradable, non-transferable, and modifiable tokens, and they will serve as users' proof of on-chain achievements (proof of behavior, proof of contribution, proof of ability, etc.) in the Web3 world. Secondly, communities will be able to run raffles with customizable eligibility rules, ranging from the contribution status, and loyalty (certain NFT holding period&amount) to a subset of holders whose NFT holdings are marked by certain NFT attachments or traits. Last week, the Raffle feature was launched on Metopia Beta, and we prepared some “Best Ally“ SoulBound Tokens for all winners in the prize pool. We are pleased to announce that Metopia and our partners will be running Raffles over the next two weeks, and users will be able to check from time to time for new Raffles and whether they are eligible to participate. Our raffle allows community operators to set eligibility rules according to the members' contribution history. Specifically, the optional rules include three aspects: discord roles, activities in governance, and loyalty to products (interaction frequency & asset holding status). On the product end, projects will be given the option of setting the Raffle entries through public or private entries. * Public * Where the event is open to all users * Private * Specified NFT Holders; After providing the contract address, Raffle creators are able to filter through more options: * Option 1 is to specify Raffle entrants through specific traits and/or metadata. * Option 2 is to specify Raffle entrants through Holding Periods of the NFT * Discord roles * Only specified Discord roles are allowed to enter the Raffle. This is encouraged for token-based communities and/or communities that operate through off-chain activities. We recommend projects that want to create raffles for their community through token holders and/or NFT holders to set their requirements to Private, as this does not allow non-asset holders to join. **For Business-End Users** Metopia enables projects and communities to run raffles with eligibility rules and adopt MetoBadges as a reward to your community contributors. Also, a pluralistic reward system is underway, and you'll be able to set other types of rewards at that time. Admins will be able to set up tiered incentives for community contributors and run customizable raffles for real users. In doing so, those genuine, active contributors can be well differentiated and rewarded. **For Customer-End Users** Currently, users who meet the eligibility rules can view and participate in the Raffle on Metopia website. In the future, we will support users to check the eligibility of different raffles and participate in them. Time ---- Two weeks, from 21st Oct. To 4th Nov. Ongoing Raffles Overview ------------------------ **Part 1：Metopia Raffle** Metopia will run several raffles during the following two weeks, targeting both Public and Metopia Beta SBT holders. Users can still get the "Data Guardian" and "Loyal Metopian" SBTs by setting up a user profile on Metopia and providing valid product feedback, respectively. Find Raffles in "Active" status in Metopia Space. Please read the rules for participation carefully and click "Join" if you are qualified. **Part 2：Best Ally Raffle** Metopia will also launch a Raffle campaign in conjunction with several partners, including Weirdo Ghost Gang, ChainIDE, Pepemon, METAFORRA, Phala World, Kokonut DAO, and others. Our raffle supports both Public & Private modes. Please check the eligibility rules shown in the description. All winners will be rewarded in "Best Ally" SBTs. If a user participates in Raffles of multiple projects/communities and wins more than once, according to the scalability of the SBT, the metadata of the first-claimed SBT will be updated and it will record the winner info with the signature of corresponding projects (think the passport & visa).
