"Soul Bossa Nova" is a song, like one of many, which everybody knows but nobody seems to know who wrote. This tune was an anthem during the 1998 FIFA World Cup and leitmotif for the Austin Powers trilogy of films. God save me, a sinner, "Soul Bossa Nova" was the title melody in the show "Foreplay" with Serge Gorely from "Comedy Club". I didn't think that I would ever write about this on my channel. And it was Quincy Jones who created this legendary instrumental back in 1961 in a record 20 minutes.
