I hope you're not like me That you don't need drink to survive And that you use your feet to keep the streets from falling Even with the high heels When femininity becomes laughable I hope you're not like me That you like your poems That you write them even when it's sunny And you don't look behind your back Fearing that someone will murder them I hope you're not like me That you listen to the bends That make you feel dead And that you resurrect Under the foggy rainy nights And Japanese red pines I hope you're not like me That emptiness is not an echo of your body And that you open your eyes when you wake up I hope you're not like me That you exist And that your palms do not tremble On every attempt to touch the world"My name is Sarah Moon" by Jasna K
