# Dazzled By The Shiny Object

I’ve been looking for a perfect note-taking app. So I tried every note-taking app that I could find. I tried Notion. I tried OneNote. I tried Evernote. **I tried everything.** I didn't know I was dazzled by this syndrome—the shiny object syndrome. With the shiny object syndrome, you think that X is better than Y. Then, you think Z is better than Y. It makes you feel uncontented. After I discovered the syndrome, I tried to make progress with the current note-taking apps that I have. So far, I'm currently satisfied with Obsidian and Google Keeps.
