# Why do I write?

After reading this quote from Sylvia Plath, I started to ask myself, “why do I write?” > You ask me why I spend my life writing? > > Do I find entertainment? > > Is it worthwhile? > > Above all, does it pay? > > If not, then, is there a reason? … > > I write only because > > There is a voice within me > > That will not be still. And… I'm going, to be honest here. I started writing online because I want to earn money (who doesn't want to earn money?). I started writing in my notebooks to learn some topics. I started writing in my journal to understand myself. --- What about you? Why do you write? \ \
