What’s on my mind:

*   Cosmos is super interesting. I really like how easy it is to spin up a new chain and connect it to cosmos. The cosmos SDK code is top notch. I really need to read more about IBC, and I’m wondering why I haven’t heard of other cryptocurrencies implementing IBC.
    
*   I’m also wondering how Avalanche and Polkadot deal with their ecosystems. I want to say that cosmos has the better solution but I haven’t looked at the other systems enough to really have an opinion.
    
*   Mathieu Baudet (ex Novi) just started a project called Zefchain which seems to build on top of fastpay, a consensusless protocol that can scale payment to infinite throughput. The only caveat: it doesn’t support smart contract since there’s no total ordering, but that’s still pretty damn cool!
    
*   I think the next narrative is not going to be about L2, I really don’t think Ethereum’s scaling issues are that interesting. The next narrative will be about bridges. Axelar has the best product there so let’s wait & see.
