# Tutorial: Running a Babylon Node using Mintair

**STEP 1: Connect your wallet to Mintair**

Connect your wallet using Metamask or your preferred wallet provider & select Babylon.

**Step 2: Purchase a Slot**

Select your preferred plan, say it’s a 1-month plan with a rate of $59.99/month.

**Step 3: Node is syncing…**

The node is syncing, it could take upto few hours for the node to be synced with the Babylon Network.

**Step 4: Your Public Key is accessible**

You will get a Public key which you have to save somewhere **safely**, and use that wallet’s address to obtain $BBN tokens from Babylon’s faucet.

**Step 5: $BBN tokens from Faucet**

Send the Babylon Address that you receive along with your Mintair Wallet address to receive BBN tokens from the faucet.

**Step 6: Check your Node Activity with your Valoper Address on Babylon Explorer**

[**Babylon Explorer**](https://testnet.babylon.explorers.guru/): Once your node gets synced and processed to validator you will get your valoper address on the dashboard. Go to Babylon explorer and search your valoper address or name of your node in the validators tab. You will get all the details regarding your node status.
