# Tutorial: Running a Eigen Layer Mainnet Operator using Mintair

**STEP 1: Connect your wallet to Mintair**

**Step 2: Purchase a Slot**

Select your preferred plan, say it’s a 1-month plan with a rate of $74.99/month.

**Step 3: Head to Active Nodes, the Operator is ready to be deployed!**

**Step 4: Github Steps**

Login to Github, and create a **New repositiory**!

**Step 5: Name of the Repository**

Enter the name of the repository and click on Create Repository, your repository will be created!

**Step 6: Upload a Picture**

This picture will be visible on the operator Page, upload the file and click on Commit Changes.**Important: The image should be .png only, Max File Size Limit: 1MB**

**Step 7: Click on the image file link as show in Picture**

**Step 8: Open Image in New Tab**

Open the image in New tab by right clicking “Open in the New Tab” , once it opens, copy the Raw Github URL as shown in the picture.

**Step 9: Create a new .json file**

Go back to the Eigen FolderHere Create a New File as shown in Picture

**Copy the below given Text**

    {
      "name": "Name",
      "website": "Website",
      "description": "Description",
      "logo": "Image Raw Link",
      "twitter": "Twitter URL Username"
    }
    

**Step 10: Paste the selected text into the new file**

Copy the above text and paste into the file, and make sure you replace the input fields with your details and also name the file **.json** at end as hown in image below, and click Commit Changes.**_Note: In the logo link, paste the raw image Github link we created in Step 8_**

**Step 10: Open the File and Copy Github Raw URL**

Open the .json file that we created just now, and click on Raw as shown in picture, and copy the Raw URL

**Step 11: Paste this Raw Github URL on Active Nodes and click Submit**

_After you have pasted your Github Raw URL, it could take upto 48 hours for your operator to be visible on Eigen Operator Section._**_Wait for a few minutes and your operator should be up and running!_**

You can check your operator on app.eigenlayer.xyz/operator
