I know there’s something alive in me that I conceived with myself on one or many beautiful nights under the influence of that stuff. They’re kicking. Yes, they. I’m having triplets. Something I’ve learned about passion is this: if you don’t give it form, it will kill you. It needs to be envisioned, acknowledged, articulated, integrated, and then liberated into reality. So let this be my epidural. Amen.Making Media Matter 🌓Media is the most powerful influence on humankind and yet people still use it to argue about little shit, make others feel bad, push hollow political beliefs, and slowly ruin their own lives. Yeah, yeah. Freedom of speech. But how about freeing your ass off the couch? Or freeing your mind out of the gutter? Or freeing your own speech instead of parroting your daddy’s? šŸ¤” My mission across all my work is simple: to illuminate, inspire, and involve. To see through narratives, reset them when needed, inspire the youth, hear people out, and remind everyone that they belong — that they matter, and that they can make a difference. Everyone has a narrative. Everyone has a dream. Everyone has a true self underneath the conditioning. Strip that away and you don’t find a keyboard warrior — you find a human being. So yeah. Let’s make babies.Media Isn’t ValuableWhile scrolling social media trying to find new digital art to feature on @mmmmmsalad, I had to stop myself. I felt like I was going insane. Somewhere during that search, my values changed and the search collapsed entirely. It dropped me straight into an existential shithole. (I’m still there, by the way but my shit filter has evolved. šŸ˜) Here’s what I noticed:nostalgia loopsdark aestheticsendless recyclingadvertisements disguised as artBut no impact. Media is mass communication at planetary scale and most of it is either unproductive or actively destructive. That realization changed everything for me. I only want to take part in media that is:coordinating toward a better futureshining light on the root causes of humanity’s problemsinspiring people that things can actually be betterI’ve felt this frustration since I first started creating. I didn’t want my work to just look cool. I wanted it to live. The Failure of ā€œContent Cultureā€What’s the point of capturing attention if you don’t direct it? Our talents are truly phenomenal, but we are capable of more than cool images floating through feeds. Most content doesn’t live. It behaves like a bubble: exciting at first glance, then it pops and the audience moves on to the next one. The audience doesn’t stay because the channel is too shallow to drown in. The creator burns out because there’s no deeper fire to feed. šŸ”„ Attention without direction exhausts everyone involved. What Is Worldbuilding?Worldbuilding is my answer to all of this. Not fantasy. Not escapism. Not lore for lore’s sake. Worldbuilding is the act of compounding meaning over time. It’s when content is bound together by:a shared missionvaluesstoriesand a recognizable visual languageA world gives people:purpose instead of pressurecontinuity instead of burnouta place where contributions actually matterA world hears struggle. A world remembers.World ProducerThis is where I step in. A world producer extracts vision, gives it form, and brings the right people together so it can live. That starts here... With writing, thinking, and signaling, and continues by finding others who feel this same pressure to create meaningful media. More epidurals to come. 🐣My BabiesMangosalad 🌓An organization that creates, holds, and supports aligned worlds and creators in an artistically diverse, dynamic way. There’s something there anyone can relate to, learn from, or simply be amused by.Arthouse Protocol šŸ¦‘A digital system for initiating creative projects with transparency, facilitating collaboration, recognition, and shared rewards. Think Kickstarter meets GitHub, lived through Discord, custom platforms, and beyond.VRAI XP šŸ”®An intuitive toolkit for designing hyper-immersive VR experiences from art to education proving that worlds can heal, teach, and shift perception. Different shit. Same toilet.Smacking Babies on Their ButtsNow that they’re born, I’m starting them with the smallest aligned actions. Writing Writing integrates vision into identity. The more I write, the more this stone is carved — and the more credible I become through clarity, not authority. Speaking First I learn what I’m thinking. Then I learn what I’m talking about. Collaborating From there, I open conversations with others about what they’re building and what wants to be born through them. This is what this season looks like. And the next one. Until it compounds into an archipelago.Let’s Make Babies TogetherI want to work with people who see the beauty in organization. Creators and builders who want impact, not emptiness. Ideas deserve to live. Art deserves continuity. Why This Has to ExistMedia has to matter more. It has to do more. I’m dedicating my life to continuous creation with purpose. From here on out, I’m pushing out #RealShit. ## Publication Information - [mjc](https://paragraph.com/@mjc/): Publication homepage - [All Posts](https://paragraph.com/@mjc/): More posts from this publication - [RSS Feed](https://api.paragraph.com/blogs/rss/@mjc): Subscribe to updates
