# Introducing AI Trading Agents V4

Mode Trade AI Agents are evolving. With **V4** agents we’re expanding the agent stack with **new markets**, **stronger models** and the same core principle that defines Mode agents: **Rule-based execution, powered by x402, with user-controlled decision flow.**

This release introduces **Gold (XAU)** and **Silver (XAG)** trading agents alongside BTC; bringing real-world assets into the agentic trading stack.

  

**What’s New in V4**

**A Single Strategy, Multiple Perspectives**
--------------------------------------------

Every Mode Trade AI Agent uses the **same fixed trading strategy**, powered by **x402 indicators**. What changes between agents is **how the signals are interpreted**, not the signals themselves. Each agent:

*   Reads identical market data
    
*   Applies the same indicator framework
    
*   Produces a **directional trade decision**
    

  

**How the Agents Work**
-----------------------

All V4 agents are powered by the same x402-driven indicator set:

### **Donchian Channels**

Used to identify:

*   Breakouts
    
*   Breakdowns
    
*   Overall market structure
    

### **MACD**

Used to assess:

*   Momentum
    
*   Trend direction
    
*   Confirmation strength
    

These indicators form a deterministic, rule-based strategy that runs continuously and consistently — without emotion or discretion.

  

**Model Layer: Different Reasoning, Same Inputs**
-------------------------------------------------

While the strategy is fixed, the **reasoning layer varies by agent**.

V4 agents are currently powered by:

*   **xAI Grok 4.1**
    
*   **Claude Opus 4.5**
    
*   **ChatGPT 5.1**
    

Each model interprets the same x402 signals and produces its own directional bias. This allows users to observe, compare, trust or counter different models; all within the same framework.

**Trust or Counter**
--------------------

For each agent, users can select one of two execution modes:

*   **Trust Mode** \- The trade is executed in the same direction as the agent’s decision.
    
*   **Counter Mode** - The trade is executed in the opposite direction to the agent’s decision.
    

Both modes use the same position sizing and risk controls, only the direction differs.

  

**Why V4 Matters**
------------------

Mode Trade AI Agents V4 aren’t about chasing predictions.

They’re about **consistent execution**, **transparent logic** and **user-controlled automation**.
