Looking back on the significant events of 2023, Chromatic Protocol marked its birth on November 16, 2023, launching the protocol on the Arbitrum testnet. Season 1 of the airdrop program kicked off, inviting the community to complete quests through Zealy, earn Credits that will later grant access to the random boxes which have airdrop tokens in it. As of December 28, 2023, during the first month following the testnet launch, Chromatic Protocol saw achievements of 8,325,097.75 cETH and 324,318.34 cBTC in trading volume, with fees amounting to 185,440.35 cETH and 2,366.09 cBTC. Also, there were 55,273 transactions occurred, and a total of 805 accounts were created. The early community supporting the early journey of Chromatic Protocol deserves the deepest gratitude. In the first half of 2024, $CHRMA Token is scheduled to be launched, with its listing on the Decentralized Exchange (DEX). Chromatic Protocol introduces three official reward programs alongside its Arbitrum mainnet launch. The Trade Reward Program is the most essential part of the Chromatic Protocol, to foster a vibrant and active trading environment. It rewards participants for their engagements, establishing a positive feedback loop that is expected to increase trading volumes on the Chromatic Protocol. Traders will receive airdrop points as a reward for actively trading on the Chromatic Protocol. These points can then be converted into $CHRMA tokens after the token launch (TGE) on a DEX, at a 1:1 ratio. In addition to the Trade Reward Program, Chromatic Protocol introduces a Referral Program aimed at activating the protocol and expanding the ecosystem by acquiring key participants, the traders. This program is to encourage traders to actively trade and to invite other traders on the protocol, offering extra rewards to referrers and referrals. Participating in the referral program, both referrers and referrals will get additional rewards. The Referral Program has two different tiers: Normal Tier and Special Tier. The Special Tier allows participants to earn higher rewards, with potential earnings of up to 13% for themselves and up to 15% for their referrals.
