老辛打算先找好旅店，把东西放下，然后再去逛。老方主张先到大学里去看一位化学教授，然后再找旅馆。两个人全有充分的理由，谁也不肯让谁，老辛越 说先去找旅馆好，老方越说非先去见化学教授不可。越说越说不到一块儿，越说越不贴题，结果，老辛把老方叫作“科学牛”，老方骂老辛是“外交狗”，骂完还是 没办法，两个人一齐向老舍说：“你说!该怎么办!?说!”
