北大壶位于吉林市区西南，曾举办过全国冬运会和亚洲冬运会。现有北大壶滑雪场可供国际比赛之用。北大壶滑雪场是集竞赛、训练、旅游、健身康复于一体的体育和旅游中心，是2012年全国冬季运动会滑雪比赛场地。北大壶通用航空机场正在建设中。
