# MUSE dao Progress Update

Holy moly, it’s been a week. MUSE dao has now officially sold out of Founding Member tokens, and our Early Adaptor launch has been a success thus far. Eight founding members have claimed their whitelist spot at 0.05 ETH, and five have been sold at the introductory public sale price of 0.1 ETH. The launch is on a sliding price scale, with the price increasing as the floor gets bought out. In the meantime, construction has resumed on our NFT Worlds development plan. The [World of Zaharoff sold for 0.5 ETH](https://opensea.io/assets/0xcd81076c5978b2fa33d22e815e8d37eb93508dd6/4061275012750776197303071881557643107989821222626926439542223663006031544324) and will be developed over the coming weeks, and our world’s first farm, [Sugar Cane Farm, sold for 0.3 ETH.](https://opensea.io/assets/0xcd81076c5978b2fa33d22e815e8d37eb93508dd6/4061275012750776197303071881557643107989821222626926439542223663006031544321)

Current proposals related to our NFT World include the chartering of the [Freyagard NFT Insitute Curator Council](https://snapshot.org/#/muse.eth/proposal/0x01b5f068d3e7c4007a5bc86426da314b2e0a837434b170adf40ff59323bb40d7%5D) and the [Nordurgar Arctic Council.](https://snapshot.org/#/muse.eth/proposal/0xa6b6c037fe95946b689e534adab30beff151f47e80edd3e2e146005242515cba) Holders of the Curator token will be able to vote on the direction of the museum’s collection, acquisitions of additional pieces, funding of artist grants, and more. To join the council, interested members need only donate an NFT from their collection! All submissions must be pre-screened in the specific Discord channel “#freyagard”. At the time of writing, these proposals are still up to vote on our [Snapshot.](https://snapshot.org/#/muse.eth)

In addition to these two proposals, [the DAO is currently voting to fund a 0.4 ETH community art fund.](https://snapshot.org/#/muse.eth/proposal/0xf6a8fd4fd4b94f89225e8cca925985e2dcd86077eacbff802206a47b2f8deefc) 0.2 ETH will be earmarked to commission a 3D artist to develop a high-end MUSEdao graphic, and the remaining 0.2 ETH will be converted to $WRLD and rewarded to community members through contests and raffles.

Looking toward the future, we’ve got a lot of excitement on the calendar ahead! January 16 we are sponsoring the DAO’s first in-person meetup event at the brand new Seattle NFT Museum. This meetup will be on the Sunday of their opening weekend, and the museum’s inaugural minting event. The event is to celebrate the exclusive pre-launch of [Blotz](https://twitter.com/BlotzCollective), a psychedelic art project on the Solana blockchain. MUSE dao members who attend the event will be granted a spot on the project’s whitelist.

And finally, we have begun exploring the prospect of exclusive merchandise partnerships. Our first round of merchandise will be offered only to Founding Members, but future rounds will be open to all DAO members with a token-gated ordering mechanism. Keep an eye out for this proposal, as we will likely designate an additional amount of funds from the treasury to hire a well-known artist.
