# When Did You Last Laugh Out Loud? What Was It? > Writing for the Human Collective on musicto **Published by:** [Moving Onchain](https://paragraph.com/@music2work2/) **Published on:** 2025-08-24 **URL:** https://paragraph.com/@music2work2/when-did-you-last-laugh-out-loud-what-was-it ## Content About half an hour ago when my dog got caught up in his leash and looked at me enquiringly as if to say "Err dude, can you get me out of this!?"Earlier a man stopped me in the street to tell me I had a doppelganger in Glasgow - that warranted a guffaw.Wendi's reflection on the likelihood of her eating at the new Scottish / Filipino fusion restaurant (not likely) had me gigglingMatt's story of a bass player's misalignment of priorities - designing logos over learning songs - had me audibly chortling. When I look at it - it seems that I laugh out loud a lot. I love how infectious laughter is - certainly more so than a yawn, which relies on empathy & eyesight for transmission. Laughter moves through the ears - like music - you have to try really hard to avoid it. And while I'll occasionally burst into laughter on my own - I'm glad that it's most often in the company of other living things. I aspire to be a contagion. A contagion of joy ## Publication Information - [Moving Onchain](https://paragraph.com/@music2work2/): Publication homepage - [All Posts](https://paragraph.com/@music2work2/): More posts from this publication - [RSS Feed](https://api.paragraph.com/blogs/rss/@music2work2): Subscribe to updates - [Twitter](https://twitter.com/music2work2): Follow on Twitter - [Farcaster](https://farcaster.xyz/music2work2): Follow on Farcaster
