# Blogger gone Web3, but who cares...

Over 30 years ago, I already started writing long posts but only “published” them via e-mail groups which later gain popularity via big-tech platforms: Yahoogroups and GoogleGroups.  
  
Then Blogger/Blogspot came out of nowhere and redefined self-publishing, followed by Twitter (now X) which popularised “micro-blogging”.  
  
As with any early adopters, I jumped at the earliest chance to be among the trendies of the Internet. F blogs, microblogs are the future I exclaimed over “technite” talks and conference sessions I delivered at business events, both online and offline -- yes, I was already hosting webinars long before COVID-19 pandemic hit us all globally: My first video conference was also almost three decade ago using “netmeeting”.  
  
Fast-forward to today in 2024, I hardly write anything much on all of those Web 1.0 & Web 2.0 platforms -- most no longer exist, or cluttered with spams sent to my email inbox, and bots monopolising replies to X posts. I don’t even have a personal Facebook anymore after denied access to it some three years ago. The only proofs of the 100,000s posts I “published” are only left in my own collection or whoever still keep them in their inboxes, or if big-tech companies still keep an archive of old materials including off defunct websites.  
  
If only I can have a public proof of all the contents I submitted over the years and decades…  
  
Mirror, possibly a redefinition from Medium seems like a good alternative -- I still need to research it more on sustainability and long-term benefits for users.  
  
At least, I should be able to mint a proof of such submission on public blockchains that are supposed to last as long as human civilisation exist.
