# How everyone should pick their NFT drop date

Why do I talk about newsletters ? Simple: Their success also relies on knowing when people are onlineIn fact @chenellco, the newsletter GOAT used to post on Thursdays 👇 Chenell Basilio @chenellco @GenYMoneyMan My site typically has more on Thursday, only because it's my typical post day. There are definitely slow days for my site too. 0 1:34 • 6 Mar 2015 But that was before. Now she sends it on Sunday (as does @thejustinwelsh) What changed ? 🤔 Does it translate to NFTs ? Let's find out My Collectors' ActivityWhen do my collectors send transactions ? Let's look at royalties (because contrary to sales, their timing is controlled by the collector)the best day isn't Thursday or the weekend, but Monday ?? Actually, no. Right after a drop, the secondary market surges for a few days. So we need to remove transactions following major drops:Now we're talking !Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday (even Friday 🤯) look great. But Tuesday? Big NO.
