Once upon a time, there were three friends who shared a passion for cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology. They spent countless hours discussing and tinkering with various ideas, searching for the perfect project to pour their hearts into. One day, as they were brainstorming in the basement of one of their parents' homes, they noticed a bright, colorful unicorn peeking through the window. It was a unicorn that pooped rainbow soft serve! The friends were both amazed and amused by the magical creature, and it inspired them to think outside the box. But, first, they enjoyed the delicious rainbow soft serve. They decided to combine their love of cryptocurrencies with their fascination for cute and quirky art. Thus, LoFi Labs was born. The friends began working on their first project, an NFT PFP project that they called NakamiDAO. The NakamiDAO project was based on the popular Nakamigos project, but with its own unique twist. The friends wanted to create a community that was more than just a collection of NFTs. They envisioned a DAO that would be governed by the NakamiDAO owners themselves. The friends spent days developing the art layers, eating rainbow soft serve from their new unicorn friend, and planning the launch of NakamiDAO. Finally, they set a date: April 20, 2023.
