How to participate in the Avail light client activity for Mac/Linux/VPS. Very easy, main steps done in 5 minutes. There are 3 main steps. If you have a Mac or VPS ready, you can skip to step 3.Activate cloud VPS for $5.5 per month (+$8.5 setup fee for the first time).Configure node/VPS.Complete the Avail light client activity in 5 minutes.1) Activate VPS service. Use Contabo because it's affordable and reliable. ref: https://www.kqzyfj.com/click-101118343-15022370 non ref: http://contabo.com/ Sign up for an account first before proceeding to order. The "Sign up" button is located on the top right. If you don't sign up before purchasing, you'll have to create an account later, which can be confusing. Select the Cloud VPS size S priced at $5.5.After successfully signing up, log in and then proceed with your purchase.Select Cloud VPS size S. Leave other options as default; no need to add options. Here you can also set the password for your VPS. Remember it well. I'll refer to this as "[vps password]".server germanubantu 20.04Pay for the purchase and wait for it to be processed. Once Contabo has configured your server, it shouldn't take more than 3 hours. When Contabo finishes setting up your server, log in and navigate to "Your service." You will see the purchased VPS. If you don't see it immediately, wait for no more than 3 hours (ideally 1 hour).Note down the IP address.If you see it, you're all set to proceed. Note down the IP, starting with 173.xxx.xxx.xx from the image. Next, I'll refer to it as "[ip 173]". 2) Configure your node/VPS. For Mac, you can use the Terminal app that comes with your machine. For Windows, follow the same process but use the Putty app instead. Open Terminal and type:ssh root@[ip 173] // Replace [ip 173] with the IP address from Contabo. Then enter the [vps password] you noted down from step 2. Now you've successfully accessed your VPS. Congratulations! Then you'll be prompted to enter the VPS password. After that, you can proceed with your tasks. 3) Participate in the Avail light client activity quickly, it should be done within 5 minutes.
