An important part of our mission is supporting Japan NFT projects that want to expand beyond Japan, and helping the global community of people that love NFTs/Web3 & love Japan to get a better flow of information about projects in Japan. UNITED NEKO ALLIANCE is more than just another NFT project. We are an alliance of communities, projects, creators and collaborators. Anyone can join just by being aligned with our mission. We believe that the more we can coordinate with other NFT communities in Japan to effectively reach the broader global community, the more that will help all the NFT artists, creators and projects of Japan get more recognition, help raise the level of Japan-based projects, and help establish Japan as an important hub of NFT / Web3 activity. To showcase these ideals, we have decided that our genesis NFT collection, will consist primarily of NFT art created by our collaborators. This initial collection will consist of less than 1,000 NFTs, and will be the cornerstone (with the highest level of access and perks and collectibility) of all UNITED NEKO ALLIANCE NFT collections. The Genesis Collection NFTs will be released as small batches in a rolling mint over a number of weeks. The mint and overall project will be tied closely to an ongoing story about helping a group of Maneki NEKO. The story lets us engage our community and allows us to introduce them to our collaborators in fun and interesting ways.Guidelines for CollaboratorsOverview of CollaborationEach artist will make 9 NFTs and the total number in the collection will be less than 1,000 NFTsThe Art can be unique 1of1s, variations of one or more pieces, or even a contribution to a pieceOf the 9 pieces, 6 will be minted together and 3 will be saved for a later mintThe finale mint will be all of the remaining 3 pieces per collaborator in one drop.In lieu of compensation, each artist will receive two NFTs airdropped to their wallet.The first will be one of their own pieces randomly selected when the first batch of 6 are minted.The second will be randomly selected in the final drop (very likely an NFT by another artist)All rights for the art will be retained by the artists. UNITED NEKO ALLIANCE receives permission to issue and sell the art as NFTs in the Genesis Collection, and to use the art in project related website, documents, online & offline media and promotion.
