On March 27, MetaMask's official Twitter retweeted the Forbes report article saying: Chrome has released a high-severity security update. They have not disclosed their nature to us, but you should generally always update any security updates. Please take the time to update your browser now. The Forbes article reports that Google has released an emergency security update for all Chrome users as it confirms that attackers are already exploiting a highly severe zero-day vulnerability. The emergency update to Chrome version 99.0.4844.84 is quite unusual because it was designed to address a single security vulnerability. Therefore, all Chrome users are advised to ensure their browser is updated as a matter of urgency
