> Tesla’s Robotaxi service in Austin launched just 55 days ago (not 4 months), and since then the geofenced area has already expanded 4x. The in-car safety monitor has limited controls to stop the vehicle if needed, but they are not actually driving it.
 
I’d much rather see Tesla take this cautious, step-by-step approach than rush it. And when the safety monitors eventually come out, critics will just move the goalposts anyway.

FSD V14 should be a big step forward. Open access is also be coming next month, according to Elon.
