Sitting there, miserable, squashed by the life, with everything stripped out of his experience, and still keeping this sparkling, hopeful look towards her as she is a queen or goddess. It was a rainy day, and thanks God for this, as the heavy drops pouring from the cold November sky masked the tears in his eyes.
