# Nodle Goes Social: Connect your X profile and amplify the network

Nodle is introducing a social connector in the Nodle app, giving users the ability to link their X profile to their on-chain identity and help grow the network with real social activity. This is the first step toward a new reward model that recognizes verified, active participation in expanding Nodle’s digital footprint.​

### **The future is social**

You can now connect your X account in the Nodle app and attach it to your ENS profile, turning your social presence into part of your Web3 identity. This lets your profile actively contribute to Nodle’s and Click’s reach on social platforms while laying the groundwork for future tokenomics that prioritize real users and verifiable engagement.​

### **A new home for social profiles**

With Nodle’s migration from Polkadot to ZKsync entering its final chapter, the Polkadot profile has been removed from the Profile Switcher to after the sunset of the **Polkadot–ZKsync bridge** on **December 31, 2025**. The Profile Switcher now becomes the new home for the social connector - **starting with** **X** and designed to support **more platforms** over time as integrations mature.​

### **How the first rewards mechanism will work**

Once the mechanism goes live in the **coming weeks**, the initial version will be simple and transparent:

*   Connect your X profile via the Profile Switcher in the **top left corner** of the Nodle app, automatically linking it to your public key and ENS profile.
    
*   Follow the official Nodle and Click accounts on X and engage with the latest posts to help coordinate and amplify important network news and events.​
    
*   A periodic off-chain or on-chain check of post interactions **identifies active participants**, focusing on X profiles that have been properly linked to a public key in the app.
    
*   A smart contract then asserts and sends rewards to **eligible users**, turning social engagement into measurable, on-chain activity aligned with the DAO-approved tokenomics for **active participation**​
    

Everyone will have ample time to link their X profile **before** the reward logic is pushed into full production, following the course set by the Nodle DAO’s vote on updated tokenomics.

​**Beyond rewards: a new layer for DePIN**

This first version is designed to enable additional rewards for active users, but its implications go much further. Treating social participation as a native signal **extends** Nodle’s DePIN beyond connectivity and sensor data into **coordination**, **amplification** and **reputation** - connecting the real world and Web3 across more moments in everyday life. Over time, combining devices, trusted media, and social proof will unlock **new mission types** and utility for NODL, powered by a network of **real users** and **real identities**.​
