This familiar scene typically involves a frightened lizard scurrying away under a bush or up a tree while the cat, dog, or other common lizard predator is distracted by the squirming wriggling appendage the lizard has left behind. However, a little known fact you may not be aware of, my dear readers, is that dragons, yes dragons, also share this peculiar reptilian characteristic.
