Culture Culture = Community and it can be whatever you want it to be. The way to create culture is to share ideas with everyone and from that form a smaller collective who have the drive to learn and create.(All ideas come from the same shared pool of consciousness) Then you MUST create ART of all kinds and lots of it, create unspoken guidelines and a code of operation. If someone has a breakthrough or creates a masterpiece celebrate them, record the data, write the history books. Now that being said the word culture gets thrown around a lot in the online crypto/nft community but almost no one knows what it is or how powerful it really can be. Culture can transcend and with that comes the ability to influence. Another word that gets overly used is influencer. DO NOT FOLLOW ANYONE, always be true to your own beliefs. There are existing communities who embody a true punk rock spirit an attitude seek them and find yourself, or don’t start something new create your own! ~~(0,0)~~ the DIY spirit will guide you ~~(0,0)~~ Subculture Factions, sets, splinters, tribes, covens, cults, gangs, whatever it may be called sub cultures may be even more important than the ultimate goal itself. Subcultures spread the gospel and words alone can convert. You need to inspire others so much with your own culture that it drives them to take it and mold it with their own ideas generating new creations, these while new still spread the underlying truths of the originating idea. Punk Rock The punk scene is the perfect example of a community that has transcended time. It is so powerful it still influences youth across the world to think, act, dress, and look a certain type of way.(put on the uniform)Taking a sound and molding it to create something new is the driving force of the punk scene, that’s how we ended up with subgenres like skate, hardcore, oi, street, skinhead, anarcho, politico, folk, crust and so many more. If punk was just Sex Pistols and Ramones people would have stopped caring a long time ago and while punk is dead the influence cannot be killed. Punk is ever evolving, punk is now a synonymous with counter culture and its seeping into more than just music. **Canceling **To cancel something is to neutralize the effect it has on others. It is impossible to successfully cancel something if the community around understands the ultimate goal. Parents, politicians, record companies all tried to cancel punk rock and it did nothing but strengthen it due to the individuals involved in the scene and community understanding the ultimate goal of anti-establishment. Money was not the motivation or end game. So when no record companies or promoters wanted anything to do with them, what did they do?(put the mask on)They went harder, they made their own tapes, flyers, venues, and networks to set up bases of punk rock everywhere! Why this matters and how it affects you? It doesn’t matter, unless you want it too. Its about what you want and your drive and thirst to learn. Join a community, encourage and empower those around you along with yourself. Uphold and support and create history together. Whether you’re online 24/7, a raver, punk rock, hacker, hot girl, femboy, a giga chad, or just fucking gay, we can all work together to make something bigger than ourselves.
