# Hello World - Or How I Learned to Dive Into Web 3.0

Let me begin by saying I’m still very early into my Web 3.0/Blockchain/Crypto journey, but I’ve held a long adoration for the technology, and the uses it has moving forward. Quite frankly, it’s time for a change to global systems, and I believe that the technology emerging today will be the backbone of future generations, with a focus on individuals and their inherent worth.

With current systems in chaos, governments not helping their people, disharmony between global superpowers, and financial power being within the structures of these systems, it’s easy to feel weak and powerless.

With the rise of Web 3.0, what I’ve taken away is the power is back in the hands of individuals, and I want to be a part of this.

I do not have a background in computer science, I’ve learned some code but quickly stopped practicing and have since forgotten most of what I’ve learned. Currently, I’m just a run of the mill college student with an interest in FinTech and I’m curious about what we could see become reality in the next 20 years.

At 26 I’m a digital native, but old enough to have seen the changes from having a family computer in the living room running Windows 98, to having a smartphone through which I have access to more information than the Encyclopedia Britannica could have ever published. We live in one of the fastest-paced periods in human history, and it’s only picking up as technologies such as AI, blockchain, and DAOs evolve. This all excites me to no end.

So why am I here, and why am I writing?

My goal here is to document my learning and journey into the world of Web 3.0, and where better to do it than a Web 3.0 blogging platform? I’ll be writing about everything I learn from AI and my experiences using Chat-GPT to my trades and investments in crytocurrency. I’ll admit now I know next to nothing, but I’m not afraid to learn on my own and take the bull by the horns so to speak. This is a blog for me, documentation of a journey and a way to look back at where I’ve been.

For those reading this, maybe you find something useful, maybe you know more and are willing to give advice. Perhaps, you’re like me, new to a new world and looking for any kind of valid guidance you can find. In any case, you’re welcome to join me on this journey as I explore and ever-changing and exciting new ecosystem.
