# Basenames Criterias

In the past weeks, we all minted our "basenames" with different criteria for free/discounted.

I'll leave here which criteria were used for discounts during minting, one of the ones that caught my attention is the "[http://base.org](http://base.org) -> base.eth" collection, the link to which I left below.

I remember such a collection, but even if I bought/minted it, I sold it because it is not in my wallet. Since it was considered as a criterion, I decided to buy it from the market, just in case. The collection is on the Ethereum network, for your information:

What I'm really curious about is how many years were you able to mint your basenames "free/discounted"?

I'm curious because as far as I can see, people generally have the right for a maximum of 10 years, but I was able to mint it for free for 100 years. It could have gone beyond 100, but I don't have the strength to continue :)
