# Forehead to Forehead

Hello shadow of death, my dear old friend. Come, let us sit and reason again Wrap me, hold me, in your cold embrace Coalesce, digest, let your cold fingers run across my face Forehead to forehead, why did I ever turn away? Oh wait, twas your hand that forced me out from this place. Squished between walls, unable to breathe Unable to move yet you still forced me And here we are yet again After facing light, intertwined be we darkness my old friend. Though I desire to remain here crushed by the weight of your essence I know once more you shall cast me forth from your presence And into this world of fake fire shall I return Where I gave you my word it shall all with your black fire surely burn Stay my hand have I for now But it won’t be long before I pay that vow. Oh shadow of death my dearest oldest friend Such a pleasure to be here with you again Though evil lurks within your walls The black fire HE has given me will consume them all Though I walk through your valley oh shadow of death I fear no evil, for HE watches my steps I now see why HE forced me to get burned With the illusory fire that part of me yearned An echo. A residue of the idol I created Childish dreams which never abated Come shadow of death my dear old friend For by falling into your embrace shall I surely ascend.... ...to our mutual creator to whom I shall make my amends And together WE shall surely bring it all to an end The old ways the old graves shall HE surely upend Reborn once more from the ashes anew But for now my dearest most desired, Oh darkness , guardian of black fire. Let me sleep until I hear HIS voice call me forth To experience the pain once again of my fiery rebirth.
