宋江大闹无为军后，与晁盖同上梁山. 途经黄门山。欧鹏四人久慕宋江之名，便请他们上山盘桓. 宋江趁机邀请四人同到梁山聚义。欧鹏四人便烧毁山寨. 随宋江上了梁山。 后来，宋江在还道村遇险。欧鹏与李逵、陶宗旺及时出现，将宋江救下。 攻打祝家庄时，欧鹏与马麟、邓飞、王英一同担任先锋。 扈家庄女将扈三娘到祝家庄助战，生擒王英。欧鹏上前营救，大战扈三娘，却难占上风。扈三娘见马麟欲抢回王英，便撇下欧鹏，改战马麟。 欧鹏又迎战栾廷玉，却被栾廷玉用飞锤打落马下，幸被邓飞救回。宋江命人将他送回山寨养伤。
