Trading volume was down 38.8% as a whole across all seven metaverse projects listed on [OneLand](https://oneland.world/), while land market cap was down 5.63% and there was also a 1% decrease in the number of landowners. ![](https://storage.googleapis.com/papyrus_images/d19189734b1e00bb15bc49a9d93eda8d1b6f4b7cf3ea9c05f93ec784e3bed1be.png) [Decentraland](https://oneland.world/#/metaverse?project=decentraland) was the only project to record any upswing in trading volume for the week, up a notable 45.82%. With the mint of the Baby Singularity NFT Collection and on the eve of Miami Fashion Week, three Estate sales in Decentraland brought in 25.6, 26.14 and 28.87 ETH respectively, pushing trade volume up to 103.05 ETH on June 1. The other metaverses all suffered marked drops in volume for the week, including [Voxels](https://oneland.world/#/metaverse?project=cryptovoxel) (-89.47%), [NFT Worlds](https://oneland.world/#/metaverse?project=nftworlds) (-89.19%) and [Worldwide Webb](https://oneland.world/#/metaverse?project=worldwideweb3) (-79.26%). Trading activity on [Otherside](https://oneland.world/#/metaverse?project=otherside) was also down.. Market caps were all down for the week except for those of [The Sandbox](https://oneland.world/#/metaverse?project=sandbox) and [Voxels](https://oneland.world/#/metaverse?project=cryptovoxel), which remained steady. And while it is certain [Otherside](https://oneland.world/#/metaverse?project=otherside) will remain in the ‘box seat’ for some time, it is interesting to note that sales of Otherdeeds continued their downward trajectory, down from 1,058 to 750, or 30%, for the week. The buyer will win the chance to have dinner with the football superstar. ### Decentraland * **01/06** Sophia the Robot launched its ‘Baby Singularities’ NFT collection on [OpenSea.](https://opensea.io/collection/baby-singularities) The social humanoid developed by HK-based Hanson Robotics, whose previous NFT collaborations sold in the millions, [tweeted the announcement](https://twitter.com/RealSophiaRobot/status/1531782495183810560?cxt=HHwWgMC9qYmE_sEqAAAA) Wednesday. Owners of Baby Singularities NFTs will gain premium access to Sophia’s metaverse (SAOS), an NFT-based gameplay environment based upon a sci-fi imagining of the year 2042 when machines begin to ‘awaken’. ### Other * **31/05** South Korea’s government announced that it will invest $177m directly into metaverse projects to support metaverse-related jobs and businesses in the country. The investment makes it one of the first countries to fund development of the virtual world. * **02/06** Kanye West’s Yeezus brand has filed for 17 trademark applications marking a potential move into NFTs. The applications refer to “blockchain-based non-fungible collectibles, assets, currencies and tokens”, and come just weeks after the famous rapper criticized non-fungible tokens in a now-deleted Instagram post. * **03/06** Pulitzer Prize winning photographer Lynsey Addario launched an NFT collection [‘From the Flames’](https://twitter.com/corywrightphoto/status/1531939764366344194) to raise awareness of global warming. Lynsey’s photography, which has featured in The New York Times, National Geographic and Time Magazine, has mainly focused on wars and humanitarian crises. ‘From the Flames’ features photos from the 2021 wildfires in northern California. 3\. V2 has six different grading filters that can be smoothly blended to give the appearance of sunrise, morning, noon, afternoon, sunset, twilight and night. * **31/05** **Worldwide Webb released some early-access Alpha on its upcoming V2.** For V2, Worldwide Webb has rebuilt their Apartment system. Holders can now enter their Apartments via the main city square with the use of a keypad. They have also suspended some quests and NFT rewards for the release, and will hold a landholder-only competition using a scoreboard. * **05/06** Worldwide Webb launched the [V2 Early Access Alpha Landholder Exclusive](https://webb-dev-openworld.web.app/). ### NFTWorlds * **31/05** **NFT Worlds released a marketing update.** The marketing update includes a plan to attract and on-board existing Minecraft players from Web2 into the Web3 gaming ecosystem.
