Epoch #1 has ended. Hurray! Let’s celebrate it! This article aims to provide details of the previous epoch and details about Epoch #2. We kindly ask DYOR before doing something so you won’t stick in tricky situations afterward. “Dude, imma degen, I ain't research that shit. Here’s the spreadsheet where you can track your Epoch #1 stats and what rewards you’ll get: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Huj2xLNzo4qJ8hjmZMfa4vqhQWR5IcI-8Y7PiECnbL8/edit?usp=sharing Epoch #1 stats: - we got 10k+ registered users & minted cards; - a prize pool to be distributed: 1,700,000 $DEGEN (~$39k at the time of writing this article); - almost 800 teams created; - almost 2,300,000 $DEGEN was paid out to creators a.k.a card owners (~$53k at the time of writing this article). Not bad, to be honest! But the rules are going to change! Disclaimer: Since the Uncuts app is an early-stage project and we are still testing the best strategies, the rules will change every week/epoch. So please be sure to stick with us to know what will happen next. So, what we are going to do with the 2nd Epoch: - we started charging 100 $DEGEN for card replacement. You can create a team for free every epoch, but card replacement will cost you $DEGEN; - this epoch, only the Top 150 teams will fight for a prize pool (it sticks only to the 2nd Epoch); - we’re updating all stats & card frames (it will take 3-4 hours); - we’ve made changes to the card scoring strategy (read details below). By the way, we’ve significantly improved our infrastructure, and from today, our app should fly 🔥 From the 2nd Epoch, we slightly changed the strategy for calculating a card rating. Again, we can’t reveal the formula so users cannot misbehave with our app, but some notes we’re ready to uncover: - we added more “weight” to the number of your followers; - we started paying more attention to your original casts rather than replies. This week, we want to stay closer to you, change our SMM strategy, and open a few new communities where we can communicate with each other 👀 we are preparing for some big moves and jumps, so you may expect a lot of new information, sneak peeks, and other stuff. Doesn’t matter what we do now, let’s see how it goes in 1-3-6 months. Cheers and GTFO!
