**I am calm and I am vicious.**

**Through time, day and night.**

**I am grand and peculiar.**

**Long, deep and wide.**

**Sometimes you embrace me**

**Sometimes you are shy.**

**I am often seen as mysterious.**

**Tempting, yet unknown.**

**Throughout many moments**

**Various characteristics can be shown.**

**To the depth of my being,**

**I provide many things:**

**Enjoyment.**

**Shelter.**

**Entertainment.**

**Emotional Release.**

**Grounding.**

**Sounds.**

**Sensations.**

**These things and other variations you will see.**

**I am a fortress of giving**

**And an escape from the world.**

**I am ample yet shrinking.**

**I am a light**
----------------

**And a balancing force.**

**I am close and then far**

**And then close once more.**

**I am moving.**
----------------

**I am flowing.**
-----------------

**Consistently.**
-----------------

**Some see me daily.**
----------------------

**Some have never seen me at all.**

**I may be your friend,**
-------------------------

**Or from your friend, I may be far.**

**You may yearn for my presence**

**Or from my presence, you may divert.**
----------------------------------------

**You may recognize my features.**
----------------------------------

**My colors - green, blue, slightly yellow and spottings of white.**

**Do you know who I am?**

**Do you recognize me?**

**My name is the ocean.**

**The waters.**

**The sea.**

**Perhaps you understood**

**Did you identify me?**
