Balance | A sketch by Melanie JaneSubscribe nowShimmering.Shining.Reflections from light.I am calm and I am vicious.Through time, day and night.I am grand and peculiar.Long, deep and wide.Sometimes you embrace meSometimes you are shy.I am often seen as mysterious.Tempting, yet unknown.Throughout many momentsVarious characteristics can be shown.To the depth of my being,I provide many things:Comfort.Enjoyment.Shelter.Entertainment.Peace.New life.Satisfaction.Emotional Release.Grounding.Sounds.Sensations.These things and other variations you will see.I am a fortress of givingAnd an escape from the world.I am ample yet shrinking.I am a lightAnd a balancing force.I am close and then farAnd then close once more.I am moving.I am flowing.Consistently.Some see me daily.Some have never seen me at all.I may be your friend,Or from your friend, I may be far.You may yearn for my presenceOr from my presence, you may divert.You may recognize my features.My colors - green, blue, slightly yellow and spottings of white.Do you know who I am?Do you recognize me?My name is the ocean.The waters.The sea.Perhaps you understoodDid you identify me?Thanks for reading ON THE INSIDE!
