# 5ireChain Testnet

5ireChain is a **layer-1** EVM compatible smart contract platform that focuses on developing a for-benefit blockchain ecosystem based on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) defined by the United Nations (UN). 5ire has raised $100M in Series A funding from U.K.-based conglomerate Sram and Mram. We are going to use the wallet and the ecosystem when it grows. Being an early member of this kind of big projects are very important for future airdrops. Let’s start the testnet.

Firstly, we need to download the browser wallet. You can download it here:

Open the extension and create a wallet and save your Private Key and Secret Phrase words.

Now it is time to visit Faucet page, click [here](https://explorer.5ire.network/faucet)

Enter your Native Chain address and write max 100 token and click Send button.

Now you can use the wallet functions like **Swap** and **Send**.

You can send some tokens to my address to increase your tx.
