# EigenLayer Testnet

EigenLayer has announced that first of 3 testnet has started. It’s a restaking solution. They have already raised $50m. This testnet may be a little different and harder than the other ones. We are going to use Goerli on Metamask wallet. Prepare them.

Firstly, we will need ETH on Goerli. Go to one of these faucets:

Secondly, send some ETH to this contract: 0x1643E812aE58766192Cf7D2Cf9567dF2C37e9B7F To get stETH tokens. You may get a warning while sending, just click “I understand” and go on. Next, go to this link: [https://testnet.rocketpool.net/?\_\_cf\_chl\_tk=unJm61xylnVQjYE.CXIzPzV3oQRomG6bmLd2ZEzRpWk-1680715034-0-gaNycGzNC6U](https://testnet.rocketpool.net/?__cf_chl_tk=unJm61xylnVQjYE.CXIzPzV3oQRomG6bmLd2ZEzRpWk-1680715034-0-gaNycGzNC6Ulinkinde) We are going to get some tokens here by staking ETH on Goerli.

Now we can start testing EigenLayer platform. Visit [https://goerli.eigenlayer.xyz/](https://goerli.eigenlayer.xyz/) Connect wallet. Then click, Lido Staking Ether

Click Max and Next.

You will get two approval on metamask and then you will see Transaction Successful text. Now go back home. Do the same steps for Rocket Pool Ether.

After seeing Transaction Successful text, go homepage. Click Create Pod button, approve.

Finally, go to your staking pools, unstake them. You need to wait for 2 minutes to unstake them.

Now withdraw the tokens you unstaked.
