# Ithil Protocol Testnet

Good morning. Today I’m writing about Ithil Protocol. Ithil is a financial interoperability layer that connects the whole web3 space facilitating new value creation via crowdlending. It is supported by Balancer, Aave and Aura.

Let’s start the testnet.

Go to [https://testnet.ithil.fi/dashboard](https://testnet.ithil.fi/dashboard)

Connect wallet. Then go to [Faucet page](https://testnet.ithil.fi/faucets) and get some test tokens by clicking Redeem button and Approve in wallet.

Now go to Trade tab and start trading. I selected Margin Trading.

Choose Long or Short, choose the token you want to trade, enter an amount of token. Click Approve button and then Open button. That’s it. Use other trading options too.
