# Hyper Scholar Program W24

Hyper Scholar Program is extending the IRL opportunity for explorers and builders to hack at major events! Step into the world of Zero-Knowledge (ZK) today and build the next generation of dApps with ZK-enabled properties.

🪄Remember: you do not need prior ZK knowledge, circuit writing skills, nor DSL proficiency to build on HyperOracle!

Applicants are encouraged to enroll in an introductory course about HyperOracle and its ecosystem starting in Q1. This course is open to the public and conducted online. Sign-up link will be shared here in February.

All applicants must complete the application form. What you will need to submit:

*   Application form with personal details
    
*   Submit link to Github source code of 2 [zkGraphs](https://github.com/hyperoracle/zkgraph-cli)\* ([examples](https://github.com/hyperoracle/zkgraph/tree/master/example). Build your own use case, not just fork the template)
    
*   We will NEVER ask you for a fee
    

\*We think that having everyone work on the same challenge creates a standard for evaluation.

### IRL meet-up at EthDenver 2024

This is a convenient place to meet everyone in person. Come by our booth. All frens are welcome.

### Idea jamming / Project building

Selected scholars will be placed in one hackathon ([EthDenver](https://www.ethdenver.com/), [EthTaipei](https://ethtaipei.org/), or in an event in Asia throughout H1 2024). Scholars will meet with the HyperOracle team regularly for 5 weeks starting the week prior to EthDenver 2024. Our intention is to instill confidence in scholars about their building skills and to encourage scholars to continue evolving their hackathon projects or inspirations for the long term.

### Program stages

Stage 1 (weeks 1-4): Learning, exploration & guidance  
Stage 2 (week 5): Hackathon & IRL Meetup  
Stage 3 (week 6-8): Open-source building & contribution

### What you’ll bring to the program

*   You put in what you get out. We are looking for individuals ready to dedicate themselves to hacking and learning from February to March.
    
*   We provide the tools and an IRL environment free from distractions during the hackathon.
    
*   You possess basic programming and problem solving skills. If you can complete the 2 zkGraph challenges on your own as part of your application, you’re an excellent fit.
    
*   Build great things 🌈
    

### Criteria

*   Write 2 zkGraphs, submit a link to the Github source code (see [project ideas](https://github.com/hyperoracle/awesome-hyper-oracle), [ideas](https://mirror.xyz/hyperoracleblog.eth/AG3tFPgesKw4d0VnwPIYjjoOzVSoc3R4chKcyY4s0ks), and [more ideas](https://twitter.com/HyperOracle/status/1730581470849200449). *   16 years old or above by application deadline
    
*   Final scholarship will be distributed dependent on the success of securing relevant visa to enter hackathon’s host country, if applicable, and a spot at a hackathon.
    

### What does the scholarship cover

*   Round trip flights to hackathon host city
    
*   Accommodation for the entire duration of hackathon including up to 2 days before and 1 day after the hackathon, e.g. 5 room nights from Nov 15-20, 2023 for EthGlobal Istanbul
    
*   Visa fee, if applicable
