April 17th, 2023. Interoperability protocol Rarimo has partnered with Orange Protocol, a decentralized reputation protocol, to enable users to mint Reputation NFTs across multiple chains. This enables users to leverage their reputations on the chain of their choice rather than being limited to a specific ecosystem.
The Reputation NFTs will ratify NFT collectors’ and creators’ trading, sales, and ownership history. With Rarimo, users will be able to mint them on Ethereum, Solana, Binance Smart Chain, Avalanche, Polygon, and Near. Previously, they could mint only on Ethereum and Binance Smart Chain.
Through their collaboration, Rarimo and Orange Protocol are leading the way toward secure, multi-chain NFT reputation tracking. This will contribute to the security of the NFT market and the value of digital assets and empower creators and buyers across the entire Web3 ecosystem.
In addition, the multi-chain minting and management process is entirely decentralized and non-custodial, further ensuring the robustness and authenticity of the Reputation NFTs.
“We’re excited to partner with Orange Protocol to further the role of identities in web3 and increase the levels of trust and security in the NFT ecosystem,” said Lasha Antadze, the co-founder of Rarify Labs, one of Rarimo’s core contributors. “Going forward, Rarimo will add support for DID and facilitate the usage of Verifiable Credentials across chains.”
David Harrington, Head of Growth for Orange Protocol stated that “We believe that reputation is the key to unlocking the full potential of the NFT market. By partnering with Rarimo, we can help to establish trust and credibility in the NFT ecosystem, making it a safer and more valuable place for creators and buyers alike.”
The partnership between Rarimo and Orange Protocol is a major milestone in the NFT market, providing a trustworthy and secure solution for creators and buyers, and helping unlock further potential in the NFT ecosystem.

MCON Recap: Moving beyond Token Gating with Reputation Gating for Web 3 Communities
The concept of token-gated communities in Web3 has made massive strides over the past few months. During MCON, Orange Protocol worked with Collab.land, Hats Protocol, and Sobol to answer MetaCartel’s grant decentralization challenge, each project bringing its unique strengths to bear. T...

With this year’s version of MCON in full swing, there’s no better time to explore new ways of approaching collaboration and coordination for DAOs and Web3 at large. Coordination magic doesn’t happen overnight but rather is a pragmatic art that is learned, built, and practiced together with allies of all shapes and sizes. This is exactly why Orange Procotol came together with Collab.land, Sobol, and Hats Protocol. To an...
