Earning Hive Points
-------------------

During this round of BETA, we are offering users a points boost for the following actions:

*   Bridging assets over to Merlin
    
*   Listing assets on our platform for sale
    

As to not game the system we won’t be giving out the exact formula but traders can earn points based on the following:

Bridgings
---------

*   The **first** way to earn **Hive points is by bridging Assets** through Ordinal Hive. Use our bridging tool to bridge assets to Merlin chain.
    
*   Traders earn points based on the total value of Ordinals bridged in $BTC, multiplied by a couple of variables including a points boost multiplier. What we’ll say is that snapshots will be taken daily.
    
*   Currently there are **no bridging fees** on Merlin chain so this will be the best time to bridge over any assets.
    
*   Please see the section titled **“Supported Assets on Ordinal Hive”** to see which items you can bridge.
    

Listings
--------

*   The **second** way to earn **Hive points is by listing assets** on Ordinal Hive\*\*.\*\*
    
*   The way to earn points here is listing **closer** to **floor price**, in other words, the easier an item is to sell, the more **Hive** points you will get.
    
*   **List assets** that have already been bridged to Merlin chain for Hive points.
    
*   The **more items** you list, the more **Hive points** you will receive.
    

Points Boost
------------

For BETA everything will be receiving a 2x points boost. If you are a **Hive Pass** holder you get the BETA boost + an additional **4x points boost**. Here is an example:

**For example Hive Pass holders**: If you earned 100 PTS for listing/bridging, this will be multiplied by 8.

**For non-Hive Pass holders:** If you earned 100 PTS for listing/birding, this will be multiplied by 4.
