# Coinbase Asks Users to Convert USDT to USDC

Coinbase has released a post calling for the transfer of USDT to USDC. The crypto exchange will not charge a commission for such an operation. "Recent events have become a test for some stablecoins. And we see a desire to move to a safe place. We believe that USD Coin (USDC) is a reliable and recognized stablecoin"
