EigenCloud is more than just a buzzword. It’s the collective power of **EigenDA**, **EigenVerify**, and **EigenCompute** three modular layers designed to supercharge Ethereum’s scalability and trustless compute capabilities.

🔹 **1\. EigenDA (Data Availability Layer)** EigenDA addresses the scalability issues of Ethereum L2s. L2s post **blobs** large chunks of off-chain data onto Ethereum. But these blobs need to be stored and accessed efficiently.

EigenDA shards blobs across **dispersers** using **KZG commitments**, and later retrieves them via **retrieval nodes**. This isn’t a blockchain, it’s middleware **think AWS for DA in Web3**.
